I have tried this and it worked. I told them that I forgot my wallet at home and I was on my way back. to get it. They let me go for that time. If they wanted to take me out of the train and call the police I would just act like I found it. I know it is a cheap shot but if you don´t have a better idea, worth to try 🙂

Carry an old smartphone with empty battery with you. Then simply tell them you’r battery died and you’re Deutschland-Ticket is on there.
If they ask for your personal information so that they can verify afterwards simply go for the „forgot my wallet“ move.
And do not forget to be sorry and apologize for the inconvenience.
